Meet Our Founder

👋  Hello, I’m Neel Dixon, founder of College and Career Collective.

My path in education has taken me through a variety of experiences, each one reinforcing my passion for guiding students and families through important transitions with clarity and purpose.

I completed my undergraduate studies at The University of Memphis, majoring in Sports and Leisure Management, while spending summers working at Young Life camps in Oregon, where I first developed a deep love for mentorship.

After a season working in healthcare and earning my first master’s degree from Arizona State University, I moved to Houston, Texas, to serve as an on-site legal guardian for international boarding students. There, I had the privilege of supporting students in their college search and application process as they pursued admission to universities across the U.S.

That experience led me to a role as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Christian Brothers University, where I also earned a master’s in education.

Today, I serve as Director of Auxiliary Programming at an independent school, overseeing after-school and summer programs and working closely with college-aged staff preparing to enter the workforce.

Through College and Career Collective, I offer college counseling and career advising grounded in real-world experience, professional insight, and a heart for helping students discover their purpose.

If your student is preparing for college or stepping into their career, I’d be honored to support your family in that journey.
